Digital Divide is the gap in access and skills to Digital Technologies, but due to the emergence of AI and Cybercrimes even those not affected by the Digital Divide can now be victims of Cybercrimes or their careers and businesses replaced by AI, such is known as Digital Divide2 (Herrera, 2025).
We are pleased to introduce SMEpinoy TechTalks, an online capacity-building webinar series designed to empower MSMEs, students, and citizens across the country with essential knowledge in Cybersecurity and Artificial Intelligence (AI). This initiative is organized by NICP, NICP Jr. and CIO Philippines.
With the theme “High-Tech, High-Impact, For Every Filipino”, this free program aims to provide:
✅ Capacity Building – Providing accessible digital education and training across all Filipinos nationwide.
✅ Local Empowerment – Strengthening digital literacy and awareness among LGU citizens and MSMEs.
✅ Anti-Crime Advocacy – Promoting cyber safety and proactive measures against online scams and cybercrimes.
